I had a great experience today and wanted to share this with you. The dental hygienist was amazing! Her name is Janide. When she brought me back from the office she was given a paper to go over my visit with me and any out of pocket expenses. She explained items that wouldn't be covered by insurance and gave me the option of declining those items. She explained each step she took while she was doing it and was very aware of my needs whenever I needed a break from keeping my mouth open. She asked towards the end of my treatment if I wanted any of the additional items and for what I declined, she took off the paperwork and bill. Then at the end of my visit, I paid what I knew I owed. This is a much better practice than paying before the visit and getting items you don't want or declining them at the front counter only to have the hygienist do them before you can stop her! For those that had a bad experience, try Clermont Smiles again. Hopefully this new way of doing things remains in place as it is much better all around.
